Weekly Offerings
Offerings during the morning worship service are for New West Church and local ministries as well as denominational ministries. There may be a designated special cause identified as a “second collection”. At some point during each worship service an offering bag will be passed around the congregation. Please place your offerings into the bag, using your current envelopes if you have them. There are also envelopes in the pew if you are a guest or forgot yours at home. Cheques should be made out to the New Westminster CRC and should indicate the ministry you are donating to.
There is only one offering bag being distributed for the causes above so please mark your envelope clearly. Undesignated offerings will go towards New West Church and its various ministries. All donations dollars and loose change will be applied to the second cause. Further descriptions of each ministry are in our bulletin each Sunday.
If you are a visitor to our church, please don’t feel obligated to give an offering. We are simply happy that you have joined us.

INTERAC e-Transfer
Effective February 2021, you can give online to New West CRC by way of INTERAC e-Transfer.
INTERAC e-Transfer is a fast, secure and convenient way to send your donation using online banking. Funds are transferred between Canadian financial institutions using established and secure banking procedures. Transfers are almost instant, but can take up to 30 minutes depending on your financial institutions (bank or credit union).
Your own bank statement will show the details of the e-Transfer. It’s free for New West CRC to receive and deposit an INTERAC e-Transfer, the church can save on electronic transaction fees.
Online Donation & The Bridge App.
Online offering can be made through our online donation website. You can donate directly to our church and/or designated causes by clicking on the Donate button.
You can also access the donation page through the Bridge App if you have the app installed.
There is 3% service fee on all online donation through credit cards on the Bridge App. The fee will not be deducted from your donation amount, it will be covered by the New West church budget.
There is a NEW OPTION on The Bridge App. that allows you to donate through your bank account directly, with no fee to the New West Church. 100% of your donations will go toward the Church’s budget.
Donation Dollars
Donation Dollars allow you to give to the Second Collection, which is indicated each Sunday, without having to use loose change. They may also be put into a blank pew envelopes with a specific cause designated on that envelope. Effective January, 2011, Donation Dollars are available at the church office. They come in $2, $5 and $10 coupons. You will be receipted for the amount of Donation Dollars you purchase. Donation Dollars provide an opportunity to give faithfully, as you have thoughtfully and prayerfully determined to give to our second collection causes.
Pre-Authorized Remittance
PAR stands for Pre-Authorized Remittance. PAR is a “direct debit” program that allows people to give through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account. PAR provides an opportunity to give faithfully as you have thoughtfully and prayerfully determined to give which means regular support of New West church and our various ministries.
