CONNECTIONS Coffee Ministry

Some time ago, NWCRC began envisioning a ministry that would make a meaningful impact in our local neighbourhood.

We asked ourselves, If our church disappeared, would our neighbours notice and care? This question led us into deep reflection, prayer, and ultimately, the vision for a coffee ministry.  Through prayer and discernment, we felt called to moved forward—forming a dedicated team and seeking guidance from Regent Exchange.

On October 30, 2023, we gathered in prayer before the official opening of Connections Coffee. Since then, it has become a welcoming space for church members, students, teachers, and neighours, even drawing visitors from Port Coquitlam and Vancouver!  This space has fostered meaningful connections with our neighbours.

As a “pre-evangelistic” ministry, Connections Coffee has helped many take steps toward faith, with some now regularly attending church.
