Ascension to Pentecost – Praying Towards Pentecost Presence and Power
This coming Thursday, May 18, is Ascension Day. Historically in our congregation, we have gathered on Ascension Day for worship and prayer. This year we’d like to restore that practice.
Please join us for an in-person Ascension Day Worship and Prayer Service on Thursday, May 18, at 7:30 pm in the Meeting Hall. During our service, we hope to connect to a livestream event taking place in the UK, which Christians from around the world will also be participating in.
On Ascension Day, we will also begin daily prayer (Dates are May 19, 20, 22-27) leading towards Pentecost (May 28). We will meet via Zoom at 7:00 pm for 30 minutes of prayer, seeking the Lord’s face and praying for open hearts to receive renewed Pentecost Spirit presence and power.
