Hyung-Jun (Jun) joined our pastoral staff team in 2015 and fondly remembers his commissioning service, where the congregation prayed over him in eleven different languages! Originally from South Korea, Jun is passionate about cultivating a community that reflects our ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse neighbourhood in worship and discipleship.
Having graduated from the University of Toronto, Jun studied theology at Regent College, Leiden University, and Calvin Theological Seminary. Before coming to our church, he served as a pastor at Galilee Korean Presbyterian Church, a chaplain at the University of British Columbia, and a staff member at Regent College. Currently, he also enjoys working (remotely) with BibleProject as their Korean Language Advisor.
Jun is married to Lin, who is an organist, and they have three lively young children.
