Christianity Explored
What is it?
Christianity Explored is a seven week course with a two-fold aim:
To present the Gospel to all nations (Mark 13:10) and
To “prepare God’s people for works of service“ (Ephesians 4:12)
This is done via a DVD and study of the gospel of Mark
When?
Seven Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm: Sept 19 and Sept 26, October 10 and 24, November 14 and 28, and the final evening on December 12.
What will the format for the evening look like?
Wednesday evenings begin with dessert and coffee together (adults need to socialize with those in the learning group)
First small group discussion (rising out of the chapter of Mark read at home)
A DVD or talk (teaching)
Second small group discussion (adults learn from each other and have resources to offer)
We will supply everyone with an NIV Bible and a study guide
Will there be homework?
Yes, between sessions you are asked to read a chapter or two of the Gospel of Mark
